El Mirador Dream Flight

El Mirador Dream Flight

40” x 64” Acrylic on Canvas on Board

The arches in this painting reference the El

Mirador, a historic building in West

Hollywood where I lived for 27 years. When I

was moving from the city to a rural area,

Topanga Canyon, the reality of the here and

now merged with nostalgia from the past.

This sentimental piece depicts a dreamscape

of loss, change and reflections about time

and space.

Fission and Ice Flows

Fission and Ice Flows

32” x 48” Acrylic on Canvas on Board

Using fission is a potential to meet our

energy needs. At the same time, glaciers are

melting into ice flows. We are splitting

earth’s embodied energy and throwing it

away

Carbonation

Carbonation

24” x 36 Acrylic on Canvas

The title of this piece is

meant to reference how we

measure our carbon

footprint with the red dots

being negative factors. Yet

this painting is bubbly like a

soda. We must try to do

our best for the planet, and

ourselves, striving for

perfection..

El Mirador Dream Wave

El Mirador Dream Wave

20” x 29” Acrylic on Canvas

Where does a dream live in your  reality ?

Have you been awakened from sleep  with the vague notion that you  went on a journey ?

Or do you dream during the day  with the same desires and thoughts  repeating themselves?

Garden Post

Garden Post

12” x 48” Acrylic on Canvas

This vertical piece evokes what is  seen through a sliver of a gate into a  garden beyond.

Gardens give me so much pleasure  with all my senses engaged. They  help me reflect how we change our  planet sometimes beautifully, but  bit by bit also destroying  wilderness.

Make it stand out.
